A Circle (2019)
In the Circle of Touch, fragments of family archives are interspersed with pieces of propaganda imagery from the Photographic Archive of the Romanian Communism. Following the idea that the self is created through touch, the questions of who touches whom and how children are touched by adults become paramount in understanding the relationship between individual and collective, as well as the power hierarchies within both family and society at large.
