Affiliation (2023)
I propose to you a brief exercise of affiliation. I have drawn in front of the gallery a rectangle the size of my family apartment’s balcony in Iaşi, Romania. On your way out, let your body inhabit it for a moment and feel out the tension, the contradictions of the space. Is it more public or private, more inside or outside? Is a chalk line enough to carve a place out of a space or does it need human practice to accomplish that?
